You don’t have to live in Jerez to join in this international homage to the city’s famous D.O.wine. This party’s hosted through the power of online networking and everyone's invited.

Now in its 5th year, International Sherry Week brings together thousands of sherry-lovers from more than 30 countries in a multitude of global events coordinated over the week of October 8 to 14.

Bars, restaurants, hotels, bodegas, universities, tabancos and wine clubs around the world will all be putting on sherry-flavoured celebrations To find out what’s going on in your town, simply check out the Events Register on the website.

Sherry party in Jerez

Organised by the Regulatory Council of Jerez, the home of sherry will host over 50 sherry happenings – ranging from wine pairing menus and Twitter Tastings to sherry cocktail master classes. Keep an eye on their website for all the hottest happenings.

Plan your own sherry gig

Devise your own sherry shindig! You can register it free on the website and there are loads of helpful promotional tools to get it kick-started. Register an event before October 7 for the chance to win a trip to Jerez, awarded to the best UK sherry promotion. The only rule is that the wines must be from the Denomination of Origin of Jerez-Xérès-Sherry or D.O Manzanilla of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
